A School for Dogs & Their People

At The Coventry School for Dogs & Their People, we are more than a traditional dog daycare or training facility. Coventry was built around the idea that dogs, like people, are lifelong learners. Every dog has their own personality, comfort level, learning style, and strengths — and our job is to help them grow with confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

 

Just like a school for children, our focus goes beyond supervision. We create opportunities for dogs to learn social skills, build emotional resilience, practice healthy behaviors, and develop positive relationships with both people and other dogs.

Education-Based Day Camp

Our day camp is intentionally structured around enrichment, learning, and behavioral wellness, not simply free play. Throughout the day, dogs are thoughtfully grouped based on temperament, play style, age, energy level, and social comfort to encourage safer and more meaningful interactions.

Every experience becomes a learning opportunity, whether a dog is building confidence, practicing calm social skills, engaging in enrichment activities, or learning how to successfully navigate group environments.

Experienced Educators & Trainers

Our trainers and staff are highly educated in canine behavior and continue advancing their knowledge through ongoing education, certifications, and professional development. We are proud to be consistently recommended by veterinarians and veterinary behaviorists for our thoughtful, science-based approach.

 

Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, we take time to truly understand each dog as an individual and adapt our approach to support their long-term success.
