Training Administrator & Dog Trainer, B.A., CPDT-KA, CGC Evaluator, Fear Free Certified
Julia is a highly credentialed dog trainer with a strong academic foundation and a focused interest in behavior and learning. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator, a Fear Free Certified Trainer, an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Instructor, and an AKC Fit Dog Instructor. Her professional work centers on supporting dogs and handlers through early training, confidence-building, and behavior challenges, particularly reactivity and foundational manners.
Julia joined The Coventry School to further develop her training skills within a science-driven, positive reinforcement environment. In addition to her instructional work, she supports training operations and program coordination as Training Administrator. Julia is especially interested in continuing her professional development in sports-focused classes and cooperative care protocols, with the goal of expanding low-stress handling and enrichment opportunities for dogs and their people.
